The rules

This is a plain-language draft. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before the shop opens, and may change.
This website is run by KemKares, a business based in Lagos, Nigeria. These terms apply to every order placed on it. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. You must be 18 or older to order.
You can sign in with your email address and a password, or with Google. Please give us your real name and a phone number we can reach you on, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.
A plan groups packages for one kind of home or occasion, for example a Bachelor plan or a Christmas plan. Some plans are split into groups, such as Primary, Secondary and University in the Back to School plan. Each package has one fixed price, from ₦5,000 to ₦200,000, and its page lists the items inside. We pack the amounts set for each package, which grow with its price. Some packages let you choose between options, such as a simple gift box or a decorated surprise, at the same price.
Prices are in naira. The price shown when you place your order is locked for that order, even if we change it for new customers later. If an item is not available, we only replace it with goods of equal or better value. Photos show the kind of goods in a package and may not match every brand or pack size. We sell non-perishable goods only.
You can build your own package. Choose a plan to start from, one of the budgets we show, and at least 10 items from those we list. The price is the budget you chose, and it is paid in full: installments do not apply. We decide how much of each item goes in, so that your package holds goods worth what the same budget buys in our ready packages. The substitution rule above applies.
You may pay in full. On a package of ₦30,000 or more you may instead start with a deposit of 40% of the price and pay the balance in 2, 3 or 4 equal installments; a package under ₦30,000 is paid in full. There is no fixed date for each installment. Payment is by bank transfer to the account shown on this website, in the name of Oluwafeyikemi Esther Dahunsi at Moniepoint. We will never ask you to pay into any other account.
A payment only counts once we have confirmed it against our bank statement, and a receipt is issued for each confirmed payment. If we cannot find a transfer you reported, we will reject the notice and tell you why. Your balance is always the price, less confirmed payments. The delivery fee is not part of it.
Everyday packages have no deadline. Seasonal packages, such as Christmas or Back to School, have a cut-off date shown on the package, followed by a grace period, normally two weeks. If a seasonal order is not fully paid when the grace period ends, you will be asked to choose another available package, and the amount you paid carries over to it.
We deliver in Lagos only, and only after your package is fully paid. Delivery is by dispatch rider, booked when your package is ready. Before it leaves, we send you the delivery fee on WhatsApp, and you pay it when the package reaches you. The fee depends on the distance and the rider's price on the day.
Delivery is made by a dispatch company we trust to the address you give us. You are responsible for giving a correct address and a phone number that someone will answer.
You may ask to cancel an order before it is delivered, from the order page in your account. A cancellation fee of 30% of the amount you have paid applies. The rest is refunded by bank transfer to the account you give us. We aim to decide every request within 24 to 48 hours.
A Surprise package is a service, not goods. You choose a budget between ₦20,000 and ₦150,000 and we plan a surprise within it, agreed with you on WhatsApp before anything is arranged. It must be paid in full, and installments are not available. The cancellation fee and delivery rules above apply to it as well.
You may order a package as a gift for someone else. The person placing the order is the customer for these terms. By giving us the recipient’s name, phone number and address, you confirm they are happy for us to use them to deliver the gift.
If something is missing or damaged on delivery, tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. An update never changes an order you have already placed, and you will be asked to accept the new terms before your next order.
